Baroque Cosmetics Haul

As I said, there will be a few of these "haul" posts until I have time to catch up.

My January GDE OTM included a coupon code for Baroque Cosmetics, and as the dollar was starting to slide, I opted to purchase sample sizes only. I know! I should have opted to pass and view from a distance. However, I'm a bit sorry/not sorry at the moment. Retirement me - please don't hate me! I was semi-conservative, samples sizes!

I can't find these guys on storenvy right now, so I think they have moved to (or will be moving ASAP) to a self-hosted store site. Otherwise I would have direct links in the post.

The samples were sent a a paper bag totally matching the online theme. All the images are taken on a baroque style map.

Aw, a hand written note and a sample. Always appreciated and very generous on a sample only order. I think I'm really going to like the sample. Business people, always include samples if you want me to throw you money a second time. Almost always works on me.

All the pretties! I ordered samples of two sets that appealed to me the most. The first was the Sovngarde (although I'm not sure why). The second: Friends in my Heart which suits me better.

I also ordered a blush sample of I'd Hate Toulouse you - mostly for the pun! Seeing the colour now, I'm a little intimidated! It's in the upper left corner.

Based on the baggies, I'm looking to try out Dragon Bones (an off-white cream), Sky (a golden bronze sparkle), Aurora (this looks like a GORGEOUS deep teal green and brown duotone), The Guild (a nice rich mid-brown), I'm so FLATTERED! (a crisp bright green) and Get up on the hydra's back (a magenta). I'll probably hold off on a second purchase until the dollar recovers and this shopping ban is over... in six months from now... But first, to play!

Have you tried Baroque Cosmetics? What are your favorites? Do you find it crazy when you can't find the store you're looking for?
