Glamour Doll Eyes OTM July Love (and fall fail)

Okay... so this was just one of those days. I got the little one down for nap, and thought I would touch up my nails with a quick coat of Femme Fatale's Pyramids on Mars. The mail arrived, and Canada Post had brought me my OTM love. Ah ha! If one child is sleeping, perhaps I can open photograph in the sunlight! It would be AMAZING!
Yeah... so tying to get into the package I was distracted my the sounds of one child waking the other. And in stead of scissors I ripped it open, and ruined half of one of my nails.

See? :( sad panda. That's not going to look good unless I use several half coats to build it up like the other side.

The candy! Red Hots and the charm is an adorable handcuff set.

Beautiful lady on the OTM card. Paroxysm if the July colour. The TMI code is non-sharable and hidden.

What!>! A pressed shadow and a nail polish! Vee loves us.

This month had a soft felted black bag.

And... Since I thought, maybe I can go ahead and open these. The kids seem distacted. This will be okay... impending baby hand of doom.

One good picture in of the laquer and shadow.

Note, the kids were on the order side of the room when I opened these...

Only to rush me and have this happen. Parodysm every where!

Goodbye cruel world! Oh? It looks like someone has been drawing on the newly painted walls. *sigh* The childless can be so lucky at times.

So, I thought I'd scrape some off the floor and slap it on my bare skin.

And blurry for the sparkle-city.

Sad trombone sounds. :(

Okay, It's not that bad, I know. It's mostly just sad because I took a risk thinking I could do something other than child minding and it did not work out.

I love love love love love my GDE OTM, It's $15 USD (about $20 Canadian these days) and well worth it. The OTM is by waitlist, a few one month on the 8th or 10th of the month, and open to subscribe in January. I'm hoping I get a spot in 2016 but it is becoming less likely with the crazy popularity GDE has deservingly built up.

Glamour Doll Eyes OTM June 2015

What an elephant bring good news day! Thanks to the change in billing for internations, I was actually able to get my OTM before I saw any spoilers! :D

This sticker was on my invoice. It's true. My neighbours are so jelly.

The bag is deep red velvet with gold dots.

Here is my #GirlsNightOut OTM. Love!

A hair dryer charm for this month! I'm also pleased I was able to ask for and have included the angel wings charm from last month (tattooed).

A highlighter (a sheer pink gold) that is gorgeous sparkle. From the jar this looks like a pink polish my halo. I like it. I also like the throw-back sticker.

The monthly shadow - #girlsnightout is a blackened mauve with a purple/pink overlay with a blue and copper sparkle. This looks like the night out version of graves in may.

More goodies include a mirror with old school GDE designs, and a sample of the upcoming astrochrome collection.

The full package is fantastic! I'm pretty sure Vee included extra candy. I'm not entirely sure of the value this month, but I suspect it's close to double (or more) what I paid with shipping.

Because we're halfway though they year, I thought I'd pull together the first six charms.

I started to swatch and... the baby woke up. I recall the texture of this one felt different, but I can't offer more. Galaxy beyond dreams is a blackened purple and I think these are being listed later this month.

Yup, I love my GDE.

Glamour Doll Eyes - OTM May 2015

Tattooed! Such a cute theme :) And a reminded I have yet to buy the Tattoo Parlour Box Set. ;)

Glamour Doll Eyes has a monthly eye shadow, now determined by waitlist for the remainder of 2015, that I love. It's called the OTM - of the month - and one eyeshadow, shipping and extras is included. To make it up to the snowy north, it's $15 US.

This is such a cute bag! I love the tassels.

Business cards and the monthly sticker. I've been collecting these on my plastic pet food bin.

I don't know why, but the three-year-old is in a phase of ripping up cards. I'm glad I got the monthly one to the safe location. The others didn't make it.

So many goodies this month! I didn't get a charm :( but I did get sour patch kids.

Named for Bernadette on the Big Bang Theory. This purple is so gosh darn pretty!

Side view of No Regerts and Apprentice. If you're wondering why I don't always have swatches it depends on how fussy the kidlets are. Today was a day that opening these beauties would lead to them likely ending up everywhere or no longer sanitary. Don't worry, the do get love! One day I might even get to take my swatch photos in daylight! :D

Two more bonuses this month - a solid perfume from Black Violet and a purple lip stick from Native American War Paints.

I'm so excited to get to try Shimmer Me in Bernie, and as usual I am loving the OTM colours.

Glamour Doll Eyes April OTM

Crazy cat lady starter kit 💕

Glamour Doll Eyes offers a highly competitive eye shadow of the month (OTM) for $15 shipping to Canada. The colours are always amazing, and I've never regretting purchasing. I mean, it's awful, don't try. Until I get one! ;)

This month had a uber cute box. I love the graphic artist Vee is or works with.

The front of the card. I've kept all of these. Indie love for Polish Addict. Use coupon promo code PANC15 to save 15% off.

The back of the card. Again, so cute.

The goodies inside. This month we got swedish fish. Even my husband equivalent got the joke.

Each month has a specially made sticker based on the theme. I like to stick these around the house.

The blush girl is so stinking cute! Love, love love.

A very cute kitten kisser from Notoriously Morbid. I love these.

I don't have time to swatch, but hopefully I can come back and add it. Bandit is shadow, and is matte brown with a green sheen. It looks amazeballs. The blush, Purr-Suasion looks like an amazing highlight that will give Day Job a run for it's money in my arsenal. I love Glamour Doll Eyes blushes, and as of the blush sale on storenvy today (using promo code blushin) I have completed the set as either samples, sample size jars or full size.

April is yet again another hit month. When it's time to swatch, I'll try to compare Bandit to Ticket to Ride as despite different bases they appear similar in the jars.

Glamour Doll Eyes OTM March

My Glamour Doll Eyes monthly OTM! You literally have to be lucky to win this one as the OTM is choosen by a monthly raffle. I feel spoiled to have one, but I'm not giving it up!

Liars Keep Secrets, OTM style.

No swatches... Yet.

A full-size Kiss My Sass gloss, a lipstick (not teloscope) charm, and 100% real human human hair fake eyelashes. I'm totally creeped out by these. Do they sterilize them?

Here's the beautiful monthly shadow - Ezria. I've held off on posting this until I swatch, but we're still waiting. The photos of looks using this beautiful blue on facebook are wonderful.

Ooooo! Next month should be fun. Theme: Crazy Cat Lady! I went to add this to my pile of OTM cards, and I've misplaced them. :( I hope I didn't accidently recycle them, but I'm also not sure why I'm so intent on holding on to them. (I love the colour descriptions).

FYI, The TMI is For Goodness Grape. The scents sound amazing.

Glamour Doll Eyes OTM February

Glamour Doll Eyes has a subscription which is totally awesome. I mean, $15/month for Canadians (varies for US and international) for one monthly eyeshadow colour, extras and shipping. The popularity has grown so much it literally is a lottery each month.

An adorable brown lace bag for February. <3

I'm sorry I thought this cute lil' charm was in focus. I'm also looking forward to a few months were I can update my computer to something a little faster and actually be able to edit my photos*. *without wanting to pick up a heavy object to heave at the screen.

Another bonus this month: Coastal Scents Liquid Eyeliner in stone. I've received this in Ipsy in black, and I really liked it. I'd open it but renovations.

This month is a lovely reddish brown called "Not to be Truffled with". Again, I would open it, but with massive renovations this week, it will be safer left sealed.

The treat this month was Hersey's Kisses in Truffles. So so tasty!

TMI was for Savour, an indie soap company you can find on Etsy. Their products look really good, and reviews indicate they smell good too.

Another bonus was a Gothic Gala Lacquers polish in a beautiful reddish-brown with red and blue sparkles. Similar to Julep, this polish required several thin coats, but did dry quickly. It's held up okay with minor chipping on most nails but the thumbs. It's very pretty and I have a code to check them out.

February was another awesome month for me. I gladly hand Glamour Doll Eyes $15 US every month - which is about what this month was worth dollar-wise according to the OTM website. What I would want to change is I'd like to pay upfront so my OTM could be mailed sooner (like it was before the lottery system) so that I might get the package as the same time as US residents and not see previews of the monthly surprise. I am so eager for the drywall dust is vaccumed up.

Glamour doll eyes December OTM love

December was certainly a record month. Note my phone wanted to auto-correct to Texan month. Very appropriate. Winky face.

On to the love!

Glamour Doll Eyes is a indie make-up company specializing in eye shadows that offers an "Of the month" or OTM of a special one-of-a-kind eye shadow. I can't recall the price and it's going up next year. If you're reading about this for the first time, just stop here and decide not to get one ... until I get mine first :)

The OTM came in a lovely red stocking and included bonus indie samples.

This month was a bonus eye-shadow month. I apologize that I haven't had time to do swatches.

Official December color: Fade to Fall - a mauve pink with a copper shift. I swiped this one dry - it's absolutely lovely but definitely requires a primer (on my skin).
Second December color: Vintage Cardigan - a muted blue with golden sheen and copper sparkles.
Shimmer Me in Final Victum (Copper sparkles) will look great with the above - Tomorrow's task ;) This color was named for Debra Morgan from Dexter. I'm guessing I just read a spoiler alert. I had to stop watching Dexter despite my love for the show because of pregnancy nightmares.
A vanilla (love!) lip balm from CostalScents.com
The world's grossest candy cane.

More extras!! The bag this month is a stocking that I'm about to put on the tree.
A brush from Sedona Lace - I love the brushes I bought from them to put my GDE shadows on with.
A indie lipbalm from Beauty Bar Baby in Immortal. See below for pictures. I hate when lip gloss arrives in the clam shells, I always make a huge mess getting it out.

I also recieved 5 sample eye-shadows, some from companies I've wanted to order from and a color I had in my bag but took out (Cake Pop). I'm excited to try these too. Any one have good tips on how to get the shadow out of the bag with out getting some of it on the brush handle? I find I have more fallout on my face from the bags.

I also recieved a free gift with my cyber monday order - a sample that should have made it to the OTM's but was late. It was really great so I'll add a shout-out here to Coca Pink and their Coco Mango Body Butter.

Here is my gorgeous, gregarious two-year-old modeling Immortal lip gloss and the heart hair clip from Kawaii. It's a nice golden shine with the gloss and the right amount of sparkle on the clip.

And that's my GDE OTM this month. I debated for days about not posting my review because I'm feeling pretty set that my only "indulgence" in my budget for the next few months will be this subscription and I don't want any more competition to snag one.

It's a total love for me! <3
