I stumbled upon some lovely introductory posts of a new company, Howl Cosmetics. I was so impressed that I placed an order on opening day.
Unfortunately, I couldn't appreciate the stamped logo as my; tracking information was on top of HOWL - named for the coyotes in the desert. I love the imagery.
Adorable cute note! I also got a promo code that I really hope I remember to use and not forget about it in my new opening excitement.
I ordered two Chai Tea Lip Balms. Other than coconut (which seems to be impossible to not find in a lip product) all the ingredients should be okay for me.
Free sample! I'm glad that I'll be able to test these lip formulations, and risk seems like a stand-out shade worth trying. I'm more of a gloss girl, but this could work.
Here is the star of my order, the compass rose collection! I can see these being used for several daily looks - mostly with Westerly on the lid, Southerly in the crease and Northerly as a highlight. The swatches I've seen of these are amazing.
The second quad is based on stars. If I had been able to get the full jars of the compass rose collection I probably would have passed on these, but as I was only able to get samples and Polaris looks beautiful, I placed these in my cart. I think they would make a lovely evening smoky eye.
I ordered the blush sample East of the Sun as this might just be the shade that I'm looking for. I'm so excited to try this. A sample of West of the Moon was included! I tried a pink blush today, and this might work for me too.
This is a very cute bag of confetti. I am also impressed by the use of wasabi tape and just how darn classy everything looks. The professionalism of this company has impressed me.

Howl Cosmetics will be opening again in June or July after a move. Hopefully, I'll have my swatches posted, and I suspect I'll be picking up a full size of several of these.
